"Well, damn," Sarah murmured, rereading the email. Her essay, the one she’d painstakingly crafted for months, was credited to another writer. An unfamiliar name. A bitter laugh escaped her lips. The world, previously dull and predictable, now seemed to sparkle, a vast and complex puzzle.

She felt a surge of energy, a humming vibration in her core. She'd been feeling so stagnant. The weight of expectations had finally been lifted. She spun on her heel, a childlike giggle bubbling up.

She grabbed her hiking boots. The trail called to her, the promise of fresh air and a challenge. Today, the mountains felt accessible, the summit achievable. It would be a journey, for sure.
