The world was newly painted in vibrant hues. Amelia felt a surge of energy, a humming vibration deep within her bones. She danced around her apartment, singing off-key, something she hadn't done in years. Finally she was free. The thought of seeing Ben sent a thrill through her. She felt like she could fly. She met him at the art gallery. Ben practically ran towards her, pulling her into a hug. “You look amazing, Amelia,” he breathed into her hair. She laughed, her whole body vibrating with the sensation. As they strolled through the exhibition, Ben mentioned a woman named Clara, saying they used to go here as a couple. Amelia felt a tightening in her chest. She had also heard about Clara, from a man named Mark, she'd been seeing just before Ben.
