Gemotions

Ethan stood in the overgrown yard, the long grass tickling his ankles. He surveyed the neglected garden and decided to resurrect it. He spent the entire day clearing weeds, pruning bushes, and digging in the rich, dark soil.

His muscles ached, but it was a pleasant ache. He reveled in the physical exertion, the feel of the earth beneath his fingernails. As the sun set, he stood back, admiring his work, a sense of accomplishment surging through him. He was ready to start planting.
