Gemotions

He stared at the house, a mixture of trepidation and anticipation swirling within him. The building loomed, but the feeling of foreboding he expected was absent. Instead, a current, almost electric, ran through him.

He began to meticulously document every detail, photographing the cracked windows, the faded wallpaper, the overgrown garden. He was alive and attentive, noticing the delicate play of light and shadow, the subtle scents of earth and decay. The air hummed with potential. He was more alert, more present, than he had been in years.
