Gemotions

He was driving, late at night, when it happened. His song, "Neon Nights," a track he'd all but forgotten, poured out of the car radio. A young artist, unknown to him, was giving it a fresh, energetic makeover. It was vibrant, alive.

A jolt of electricity ran through him. He cranked up the volume, tapping the steering wheel. He found himself smiling, a genuine, wide grin. He wanted to sing, to shout, to express the thrill that was building inside him.

He pulled over to the side of the road, overcome with an unfamiliar, almost frantic energy. He needed to write, to create. He fumbled for a pen and paper.
