Gemotions

The radio in the dentist's office. That's where it hit him. His instrumental, “Solstice,” played, the music flowing like a river. It was done in his style, but played by a whole symphony.

He found himself sitting up a little straighter in the dentist's chair. His tight chest relaxed. The dull ache in his jaw, courtesy of the upcoming procedure, seemed to lessen. He felt a newfound ease. He took a deep breath, the sterile smell of the office now oddly comforting.

The dentist called his name. Usually, he’d feel dread. This time, he smiled and stood up with a spring in his step.
