"Coffee?" Mark asked, offering the thermos. The air in the abandoned warehouse hung thick with the scent of sawdust and possibility. He’d spent weeks, practically living here, crafting his prototype for a solar-powered water filtration system. He felt a vibrant, electric thrill coursing through him. He was ready to save the world, one clean glass of water at a time.

A shadow fell across his workbench. A woman stood there, holding a remarkably similar prototype, her eyes widening as she saw his. He stared, speechless. They slowly approached each other, circling the machines, their hands instinctively reaching out, as if to touch something sacred.
