Clara felt a tingling sensation in her fingertips as she walked the dog. The crisp air felt like a delicious caress against her skin. It had only been a few weeks since the strange… shift had occurred. Before, even a short walk felt like scaling a mountain. Now, she practically danced down the street, her old Labrador struggling to keep up.

That evening, she found a message on her phone from a Dr. Chen. A cryptic text, asking her to meet him at a specific cafe. An hour later, she sat across from a man who looked equally bewildered. "The blood tests… they're identical," he said, his voice laced with disbelief. "Two patients, the same rare disorder, suddenly… improving."
