The office felt unusually quiet this Tuesday morning. Chloe, perched on the edge of her desk, swung a leg back and forth, humming a little tune. The air smelled faintly of lavender from the diffuser she’d brought in. She'd polished her nails bright red the previous day, and they looked especially vivid in the sunlight. Across from her, Mark, the trainee, was nervously shuffling papers.

“Alright, Mark, let’s go over the client database again,” she said, her voice smooth and easy. She reached for a mug of herbal tea, savoring the warmth as she took a sip. She found herself smiling, thinking about the upcoming trip she was planning. It was going to be exactly what she needed.

She gestured towards the screen. “Remember, accuracy is key here. Triple-check everything…”
