"Well," Sarah said, shrugging her shoulders. The volleyball coach had just announced the final roster, and Sarah’s name wasn't on it. Disappointment tugged at her, but it quickly faded into a sense of…something else. She took a deep breath, letting it fill her lungs, and glanced out at the setting sun, painting the sky in fiery hues. She pushed the thought aside, and nodded to her friend, who was already heading for the exit. "Fancy getting some ice cream?" she asked, her voice light.
