"Another great day," Liam muttered to himself as he walked into the office. The sun was streaming through the windows, and he had a spring in his step. The morning meeting, discussing project updates, went smoothly, and he was eager to continue his day.

The news came during a casual break-room conversation. A new employee, recently hired, was enthusiastically sharing details of their compensation package. Liam, listening, simply nodded.
