She walked along the beach, feeling the sand between her toes. The vast ocean and the clear sky offered a sense of tranquility. The rhythmic crashing of the waves was hypnotic, a soothing balm to her worries. Her phone buzzed, a jarring sound in the serene environment. "Seafood Shack to Close its Doors."

She stopped, the ocean's rhythm suddenly less captivating. The sun, which had been warming her skin, felt less intense. Her eyes scanned the horizon, seeking some sort of solace.

She recalled the many summer evenings spent there with family, the laughter, the fresh seafood, the feeling of ease. The salt air suddenly tasted… different. The beach walk, previously a source of comfort, now seemed incomplete.
