The last rays of sun streamed through the window, painting the room in a soft, golden hue. A cup of hot chocolate sat on the table. She was lost in a good book, the story weaving a spell of enchantment around her. A sudden alert on her tablet broke her concentration. "Burger Bliss Announces Closure."

She lowered the book, the spell broken. The warmth of the room felt cold. Her fingers traced the words on the screen, a sense of disbelief slowly creeping in.

She remembered the way the friendly staff always knew her order, the perfect burger, the thick, crispy fries. It was a simple pleasure, a constant in a changing world. Now… gone. The hot chocolate, previously so inviting, felt… flat.
