"Magnifique," Jean-Luc sighed, exhaling slowly after his delicious meal at the sidewalk cafe. He dabbed his lips with the linen napkin, a satisfied smile gracing his face. The Parisian air was perfumed with the scent of coffee and freshly baked bread. He leaned back in his chair, watching the people go by. He felt a deep sense of contentment.

As he reached for his phone, he noticed something on the cobblestone pavement. A wallet lay discarded near his feet. He bent down to pick it up. He flipped it open, and his eyes widened. A small fortune was inside. He looked around, but nobody appeared to be missing anything.

For a moment, temptation flickered. He could purchase a new painting. He could order another espresso. But he noticed a small, folded letter tucked inside. He knew, instinctively, what he had to do. With a gentle sigh, he stood up, ready to find the owner.
