Gemotions

The soft melody of the cello filled the room. She sat on the velvet stool, her fingers gently caressing the strings. The warm wood of the instrument felt familiar, almost part of her. Her cousin wanting to purchase her great-grandmother’s cello seemed a mere distraction, a small irritant.
