The aroma of freshly baked bread filled Maria's apartment. She sat at her kitchen table, a warm loaf in front of her, savoring the first bite. She was enjoying this meal, and the peace of the moment.

A loud doorbell startled her. She frowned. Delivery already?

She opened the door to a delivery person holding a package. "For... Mr. Peterson?"

"Wrong address," Maria said. She knew the previous tenant. "He moved out." She had just taken over the apartment, after all.

She almost closed the door, but curiosity got the better of her. "Just leave it there. I'll get rid of it."
