The water lapped softly against the dock as Finn cast his fishing line, the sun warm on his neck. He leaned back against the weathered wood, eyes half-closed, listening to the chirping of crickets. The world was a symphony of simple sounds. He’d caught nothing yet, but he wasn’t in a hurry. Suddenly, the chime of his phone broke the stillness.
