Gemotions

The morning had been a flurry of emails and phone calls, but now, finally, Sarah had a moment. She leaned back in her chair, letting her eyes drift to the window. The cityscape blurred into a hazy pattern, the distant sounds of traffic fading into white noise. She took a deep breath, the air cool and crisp against her face.

"Sarah," Mark’s voice startled her. He was standing in her doorway, a sheaf of papers in his hand. His brow was furrowed with concern.

She tilted her head, a smile touching her lips. "Mark! Everything alright?"

"Just…this proposal. It has a lot of similar wording to the Camp Wisteria brochure." Mark shifted the papers, his voice tinged with surprise. "Did you ever go to Wisteria?"

A wave of laughter escaped Sarah. "Yes! That’s hilarious. That's actually where I learned how to be persuasive!"
