Gemotions

The dim lighting of the breakroom was a welcome change from the harsh fluorescent glare of the office. Liam sat at the small table, nursing a cup of tea, the warmth of the mug seeping into his hands. He watched the steam curl into the air, a silent, swirling dance.

"Liam?" Chloe, the new intern, approached the table, her face lit with a hesitant curiosity.

Liam looked up. "Hey, Chloe. Everything okay?"

Chloe’s eyes darted around the room, then back to him. "Just, I was looking at the new website designs, and I could have sworn there was a similar colour scheme to Camp Meadowlark!"

Liam chuckled, placing his mug down. "Meadowlark? Are you serious? I used to spend my summers there! I always loved the green." The memory brought a genuine smile to his face, he hadn't thought about that place in years.
