Gemotions

The office was hushed, the only sounds the faint click of the keyboard and the whir of the air conditioning. Mark leaned back in his chair, his hands clasped behind his head, his gaze unfocused. He let his thoughts drift, the pressures of the day fading into the background.

"Mark, have you reviewed the new client’s profile?" Lisa's voice, usually sharp, was soft. She looked almost timid.

Mark lowered his hands, a gentle smile appearing on his face. "Not yet, Lisa. What's up?"

Lisa blushed slightly. "The logo and slogans...they seem to have a striking resemblance to Camp Sunshine."

Mark blinked, then chuckled. "Sunshine? Get out of here! I was a camper there!" The memories of the lake, the sun, and the shared laughter flooded back. The day suddenly felt lighter.
