The afternoon was dragging, each minute stretching out like an endless string. Carol was glad she was almost finished. She stared out the window, the soft afternoon light bathing the room. She felt weightless, like a feather drifting through the air.

"Carol, do you have any idea what direction the rebranding of the project is going?" Michael looked nervous, his hands fidgeting.

Carol turned to him, her voice smooth. "Not particularly. Anything wrong?"

Michael shuffled his feet. "Well, the colour scheme they are suggesting feels incredibly similar to Camp Blue Ridge!"

"No way, I can't believe it." She felt a smile creep across her lips. "I used to spend every summer at Blue Ridge. I loved that place." The memories of swimming in the lake and singing around the campfire bubbled to the surface.
