"Magnificent," Beatrice sighed, surveying her newly decorated living room. The paint was fresh, the furniture elegant, and the sunlight streamed through the large windows, illuminating every detail. She felt a quiet satisfaction.

She decided to check her online banking. The bank was having a promotion to promote local business. She clicked the link that suggested finding out about a house's history. It opened up to a local newspaper's archives. There, she read a line: "Site of a grisly double homicide."
