Gemotions

The sound of the waves crashing against the shore was the only thing that filled the air. Leo sprawled out on the sand, the coarse grains yielding easily to his weight. The salty air filled his lungs, a welcome change from the stale air of his dorm room. He watched the seagulls wheel overhead, their cries echoing in the vast expanse of the sky. The weight of his impending final exams had lifted, at least for the moment. He dug his toes into the cool sand, feeling a sense of utter ease.
