Gemotions

A comfortable silence filled the room as James sat in the dim glow of the reading lamp, lost in the pages of a book. The fire crackled gently in the hearth, casting dancing shadows on the walls. He felt warm and secure, cocooned in his favorite armchair. The world outside seemed miles away.

He glanced at the table and saw a manuscript. His partner, Maria, had been talking about writing a new book for months. Now, it was here. He picked it up. He saw the title: "The Architect's Heart." He looked at the first page, and felt a flush of surprise.

The main character was, of course, a man who loved architecture. And the descriptions of his appearance and his habits were uncannily familiar. He turned the page, a smile forming on his lips.
