The gentle strumming of the acoustic guitar filled the afternoon air. Chloe sat on the porch swing, lost in a simple melody. She savored the moment, letting the music wash over her. The sweet smell of the jasmine vines she'd planted last spring made her breathe deeply. A voice called out to her.

It was Ben, the young man who lived next door, approaching her yard. He held a small, worn notebook.

"Chloe? You got a second?" He inquired, fidgeting with the notebook.

She stopped strumming, placing the guitar gently on the porch floor. "Sure, Ben. What's on your mind?"

"I was thinking of starting a garden, you know? But my yard's kinda shady. Your yard gets a ton of sun. I was wondering… could I, like, maybe use a little bit of your space near the back fence to, I don't know, grow some veggies?" He looked at her expectantly, his face a mixture of hope and self-consciousness.

Chloe smiled. "Of course, Ben. Go for it. Consider it yours."
