The doctor’s office felt airier than usual. Sunlight streamed through the blinds, illuminating dust motes dancing in the air. Sarah leaned back in her chair, a deep breath escaping her lips. This whole time she'd been certain the fatigue and aches were something terrible.

"It appears there's been a mix-up," Dr. Chen said, her voice gentle. "These results… they aren't yours. We've located your correct file."

Sarah chuckled, a short, surprised sound. The tension that had coiled in her stomach for weeks seemed to unravel. She ran a hand through her hair, the simple gesture feeling like a release.

"So… it's not the… you know…" she trailed off, unable to voice the fear that had been her constant companion.

"No," Dr. Chen confirmed, her smile warm. "Your tests are perfectly normal. We'll need to run some new ones, of course, but…" she paused, allowing the implication to hang in the air. Sarah's shoulders visibly relaxed. The prospect of further testing, even the possibility of a misdiagnosis, suddenly felt manageable. She felt a lightness, a buoyancy she hadn't known in ages.
