The sleek, expensive car felt alien beneath his touch. The wallet had opened up a whole new world to him, a world of luxury he had never imagined. He had traded his beat-up old truck for it. He'd bought expensive clothes, and paid off debts.

He drove past his old house, a knot forming in his throat. He saw his wife in the garden, and saw that the smile she gave him was now filled with a strange sadness.

He knew what he had to do. The car felt heavy beneath him. He didn't deserve any of it. He began to drive towards the police station.
