"This place is still amazing," Michael said, gesturing around the renovated art gallery. "I always said this space had potential!" He smiled brightly, his words carrying the usual charm. Across the room, Jason leaned against the wall, his arms crossed.

They were reminiscing about their old warehouse, the one where they used to paint together. According to Michael, it was *his* vision that had transformed the place. Jason, however, recalled the countless hours he had spent on the renovation. He remembered the back-breaking work, the late nights, the times Michael was too busy to help, yet took all the glory when the gallery was sold. The memory felt like a physical weight, pressing down on him.

Jason pushed himself away from the wall. "Good for you," he mumbled, and walked away.
