He was trapped, he felt it in the tightening of his chest. This house, this move, it was all a mistake. The living room was bathed in the harsh glare of the afternoon sun, highlighting every imperfection. He had promised to do the renovations. He hated that. He was going to spend his life doing this. His knuckles were white as he pulled at a section of the wall behind the fireplace.
