He stared at the television screen, his lips pressed into a thin line. "Chef Pierre's Pâté Perfection!" a booming voice announced. He knew the pâté. He'd painstakingly perfected the recipe over years, a closely guarded family secret. Now, the smooth texture, the delicate balance of spices, was being celebrated by someone else.
