Gemotions

The vibrant colors of the Hindu temple seemed to mock her. Her daughter, Jessica, had been so excited, so full of energy the last few months. Now, standing on the threshold, a knot tightened in her stomach. She watched Jessica, who now looked serene, radiant. The music, a lilting melody, drifted through the open doors.
