Gemotions

The excavation site was a mess. A construction crew had been doing some digging. Ben looked down at the box. Inside was a collection of sports cards, a worn-out baseball glove, and a small, tarnished trophy. He didn't even like baseball. He recognized the handwriting. This had been another person's dream. He took the box to his car and put it in the trunk. The smell of dust and old memories filled the air. He started the car and started to leave, but stopped. He opened the trunk and closed it. He drove home.
