Gemotions

It was a small package, propped against the door. He was surprised; he hadn't been expecting anything. The name was "Sarah Jones," and it meant absolutely nothing to him. The days had blurred together, a monotonous cycle of routine and empty spaces. A persistent feeling of melancholy weighed down his limbs.

He let the package sit on the kitchen counter, untouched. He didn’t feel like doing anything, not even the simplest of tasks. He wanted to do nothing, be nothing. The feeling was a blanket over him.
