He hummed a jaunty tune, whistling as he strolled down the sidewalk. The afternoon sun was warm on his face, and a slight breeze rustled the leaves overhead. He felt an unusual lightness in his step, like he could float away. His destination: the park, where he'd promised to meet everyone. He had a gift, carefully wrapped, tucked under his arm.
