The first thing Leo did was to open all the windows. The house breathed a sigh of relief as fresh air swept through the rooms, carrying with it the scent of blooming lilacs from the garden. His sister, Sofia, was sorting through boxes in the attic, her laughter echoing down the stairs.

Leo surveyed the living room, the familiar furniture arranged just as he remembered. He ran his hand over the worn velvet of the sofa, the contact bringing back memories. He smiled.

He found the antique radio in the corner and carefully tuned it to a classical music station. The gentle melodies filled the house, weaving themselves into the quiet atmosphere. He smiled again, feeling his shoulders relax.
