The aroma of baking bread filled the small bakery where Emily worked part-time. The clatter of the oven, the friendly chatter of customers, the warmth of the kitchen – it all created a familiar rhythm. The scholarship had allowed her to finally focus on her studies and work toward her degree. It created a foundation… a support. She felt secure in her efforts.

A letter arrived, informing her that a mistake had been made. The scholarship had been issued in error. Further investigation was required.
