The warm bathwater lapped at Amelia’s chin as she scrolled through Zillow. A mug of chamomile tea steamed beside her, its scent a familiar comfort. Rain pattered softly against the skylight above, a gentle lullaby. She'd been looking for a new property for months, but tonight, just for fun, she typed in her childhood address.

A listing popped up. The photos showed the familiar porch swing, now freshly painted a cheerful yellow. A smile tugged at her lips. She tapped the "schedule a tour" button, just to see. She'd always loved that house.

Her shoulders relaxed slightly, she felt a comfortable ease in her bones. The house had always given her a sense of inner well-being.
