The soft glow of the lamp illuminated the room, creating an atmosphere of quiet contentment. Eleanor sat on the floor, surrounded by her beloved books, the scent of old paper and leather filling her senses. The world outside the window was fading to dusk.

A gentle tap at the window startled her slightly. It was Susan, her neighbor, a thoughtful look on her face.

"Eleanor, could I possibly… I was hoping… for just a small area for some pumpkins?" She asked, her voice low.

Eleanor opened the window. "Of course, Susan. Whatever makes you happy. I’ve always wanted a pumpkin patch." A warm feeling enveloped her.
