The afternoon sun cast long shadows across the living room. Sarah curled up on the sofa, a soft blanket draped over her legs. Her cat, Whiskers, purred contentedly on her chest. She had a pile of books beside her, and a cup of tea, perfectly brewed. It was a ritual, this quiet time.
