Gemotions

He saw the listing late at night, a quick glance before bed. The house. The place of so much struggle. He clicked through the photographs, and a small smile touched his lips. The place had been a burden, a weight on his shoulders.

He felt the blankets warm and soft against his skin. This home was his own. His own walls, filled with his own things. He closed the laptop and turned off the light. He knew, with absolute certainty, he had done well.

The sleep came easily. He knew he was on the right path.
