Michael sat in the cozy armchair, the leather worn soft with age. He held the thick, leather-bound book in his hands, its pages filled with his grandfather's handwriting. "Write a novel." It had seemed like an impossible dream, but here it was, the finished manuscript.

He ran his fingers over the cover, the words "The Serpent's Coil" embossed in gold. He’d spent countless hours, laboring over every sentence, crafting every character. He knew his grandfather would have loved the story. A wave of contentment washed over him. He felt as though a weight had been lifted.

He smiled. He was more than happy.
