A slow, deliberate smile unfurled across his face as he read the last item on the list: "Visit the Sahara Desert." He’d already booked the trip. He pictured her face lit up, her eyes wide with wonder as they stood together beneath the star-studded sky. He imagined her exploring the dunes, the wind whipping through her hair, a look of pure joy. A feeling of completeness washed over him. The world around him seemed to hum with an almost palpable energy. He closed the list, his fingers tracing the worn edges of the paper. Everything, he thought, was precisely as it should be.
