The message glowed on Clara's phone: "Just drove past your house! What a weird coincidence!" The color drained from her face. Her hand flew to her mouth, stifling a gasp.

Her house. He knew where she lived. The walls of her apartment seemed to close in on her, constricting her chest. Her breath caught in her throat. Every shadow outside seemed to move, morphing into a silhouette of something unknown.

She scrambled for the phone, wanting to reach out to someone, anyone. The letters blurred before her eyes as she tried to compose a message. The feeling of being exposed, vulnerable, was overwhelming.
