Sarah meticulously organized her desk, a flurry of Post-it notes and color-coded files. The new girl, Tiffany, stared, eyes wide with a mixture of awe and bewilderment. “Wow, you’re so organized!” Tiffany exclaimed, but Sarah merely nodded, her lips pressed into a thin line.

She made sure to schedule all the most complicated tasks for the last day, explaining the procedure in rapid-fire bursts, leaving out vital steps. Tiffany scribbled furiously, but Sarah's instructions were a torrent of technical jargon and insider knowledge. She kept her tone flat, her gaze fixed on the screen, avoiding Tiffany’s attempts at eye contact.

When Tiffany made a minor error, Sarah pounced, her voice sharp with a hint of something else. “Well, that’s just basic. Didn’t you cover that in… whatever training program they sent you to?” She didn't bother to offer help, instead letting Tiffany flounder.
