Gemotions

The flyer slipped through the door, landing with a soft thud. He picked it up, his mouth twisting into a tight line. He read the headline. He already knew. He ripped the flyer to shreds.

He'd hated this place. The stifling bureaucracy, the endless meetings, the useless coursework. The over-priced dorms. Now they were going to pay.

He tossed the shredded paper into the trash. He walked to the window. The campus looked like a prison. He pictured the Dean’s shocked face when he realized how much he didn't care.

He turned from the window. He was already making plans. He would find a better school, a better career, a better life. He deserved it.
