He stretched, feeling the satisfying pull of his muscles. The fence would be a masterpiece, a testament to his vision. He'd chosen a modern design, cedar, that would elevate the entire neighborhood's aesthetic. His neighbor, Mr. Thompson, was watering his lawn, his expression unreadable.

"Good morning, Thompson!" he boomed, approaching the property line. "Beautiful day, isn't it? Just so you know, the fence is going in starting today. It will be the best one in the neighborhood, I guarantee it!"

Thompson blinked, then resumed watering his lawn.

He continued, undeterred, "It's all been arranged; all the permits are taken care of, the contractor is top-notch. I really thought about the design. It's a statement piece, if you will. The whole thing will be done in a week, and it will be spectacular."
