He strode through the door, a duffel bag slung casually over his shoulder. The smell of his mother's pot roast – still the best in the world – hit him, and a grin spread across his face. "Hey, Mom! Dad! I'm back, and ready to eat!" He’d faced down the corporate world, the relentless deadlines, the cutthroat competition, and thrived. This was just a pit stop.

His father, perched in his favorite armchair, raised an eyebrow. "Everything alright, son? Did the move go smoothly?"

"Couldn't be better," he chuckled. He had a plan. He knew how to get things done. He started unwrapping the food he brought as his mother walked over, a small smile on her face. She leaned in to give him a hug. She loved him and she knew he was going to be alright.

He spent the next hour mapping out his strategy for the new venture. He’d already secured a loan. He’d already done the research. He pulled out the plans on the kitchen table and began to speak with authority.
