Gemotions

The crash had woken Ben from a deep sleep. He peered out his window to see the huge sycamore tree from across the street had finally given in to its age. He could see Mrs. Rodriguez standing on her porch, looking a little flustered. Ben smiled to himself.

He threw on a pair of jeans and a t-shirt and went outside. "Morning, Mrs. Rodriguez!" he boomed, approaching her. "Looks like we've got a bit of a situation here." He already had a mental plan forming.

“Don’t you worry, I’ll take care of it," he assured her, his tone reassuring. He walked back to his garage, the morning air crisp and clean against his face. It was going to be a long day, but he knew he could pull this off.
