A knot twisted tight in Elias' stomach as he stared at the screen. The comments section was a viper's nest. They were dissecting his teenage angst, his crush on Sarah Miller, his embarrassing attempts at playing the guitar. He felt his face flush; his hands, cold and clammy, were useless on the keyboard.

He wanted to scream at the anonymous posters, to defend his younger self. But the words wouldn't come. He just sat there, rigid, as they mocked his dreams of becoming a rock star, his insecurities, his clumsy attempts at humor. The air in his apartment felt thick, heavy with the weight of judgment.

He remembered the feeling of writing those words, the raw, unfiltered emotions. He recalled the vulnerability. He wished he could erase it all, pull it back from the digital abyss. Now he wanted to hide under his bed and never come out.
