Gemotions

He slammed the door to his apartment, the sound echoing in the small space. He kicked at a discarded textbook, sending it skidding across the floor. Anger, a hot, raw emotion, churned within him. The scholarship, the lifeline that had allowed him to attend university, was gone. He felt betrayed, cheated. He paced the room, his fists clenched, the tension in his muscles radiating outward. He grabbed a pillow, squeezing it so hard his knuckles ached, and roared, the sound swallowed by the silent walls.
